🤔 What is the Student Freedom Pass?
For ages 13 - 17 (or those currently enrolled in 9-12), the Student Freedom Pass provides young adults in Hampton Roads the opportunity to explore the region and gain valuable skills for free until they graduate. Students living or going to school in Chesapeake, Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk, Portsmouth or Virginia Beach are eligible. Student Freedom Pass holders can use their pass to ride all modes of HRT services for free until they graduate. This includes bus, light rail, ferry, and OnDemand Rideshare.
